A new study of Barron's has hit claiming that 48% of Android smartphone users plan on buying another Android device at some point, while 17% are interested in an iPhone, and 34% are unsure.
The takeaway is that only about half of Android users are 100% sure that they stick with Android, right? The only problem with this is that the research is very limited, as only 2,000 people were surveyed, and not all of the respondents were even Android users from the sound of it. Millions and millions of Android users are out there, but somehow we are supposed to believe that this research is correct?
Even if this number proved correct, that means 4 out of 5 Android users are either undecided or stabbing with Android. Other interesting things in this investigation include RIM users who were almost all investigated another type of phone, with only 2% wanted to remain loyal to Blackberry.
We've all heard the rumors about a Facebook phone, but if this research accurately, only 7% of respondents were interested. In contrast, about 51% of the survey reviewers said that they have a Amazon Kindle Fire-like device to think.
You can complete the survey, but basically these are the major points made by the. Again, I think the survey limited number of reviewers makes it very difficult to take at face value.
What about you, that there is some truth in the assertion that 1 in 5 Android users are interested in ditching Android for the iPhone?
